Candles diverse,
Candles thick,
Candles tall and short,
Candle’s burning wick.

Candles stand out in the night,
Candles battle the elements,
Candles stand firm and strong,
Then candle’s burning wick snuffs out.

People diverse,
People thick,
People tall and short,
People’s ticking clock.

People stand out in the night,
People battle the elements,
People stand firm and strong,
Then people’s ticking clock stops running.
