Last Will and Testament-a poem
I leave to anyone who knew me
Whatever I had in my lifetime
Of course, if anyone knew me
You’d know that I didn’t have much of anything.
That means that this paper
Is one of a handful of things
You’ll get from me
Without a guarantee of value.
If there’s anything valuable
Feel free to do with it what you wish
Just as long as you don’t waste it-
Or burn it.
Whatever I had in my lifetime
Of course, if anyone knew me
You’d know that I didn’t have much of anything.
That means that this paper
Is one of a handful of things
You’ll get from me
Without a guarantee of value.
If there’s anything valuable
Feel free to do with it what you wish
Just as long as you don’t waste it-
Or burn it.
